If so, we’re looking for someone just like you for our Sr. Manager of Social Media position located at our Headquarters in Denton, TX.

     

    The Sr. Manager of Social Media develops and leads the implementation of the company’s social media and public relations strategies, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging product adoption.  This role coordinates with the internal Marketing teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a social media influencer network.

    Responsibilities

    • Develops and implement social media strategy with clear objective, goals and KPIs - Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
    • Create and manage social media content calendar and posting schedule across all platforms in alignment with brand priorities and business goals.
    • Manage presence in social networking sites including Instagram, Facebook, and other similar platforms, posting on relevant blogs, seeding content into social applications as needed, engaging in dialogue and answering questions where appropriate.
    • Lead Public relations efforts with outside agencies by coordinating with stakeholders across the Company to ensure its effectiveness and encouraging adoption of relevant public messages
    • Manage and lead brand activation event strategy and execution
    • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact programs and analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.  Regularly provide feedback/insights gained from teams, to help evolve brand strategies. Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and application

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of retail experience required; retail and corporate experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree from 4 year college in Journalism, English, Communications or related field
    • At least 5-7 years in social media, public relations, journalism, corporate communications or related
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong project management and planning skills
    • Large-scale event planning experience is a plus
    • Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus
    • Knowledge of current trends in the field
