    Sally Beauty Holdings (NYSE: SBH) is the world’s largest wholesale and retail distributor of beauty supplies.  Our world headquarters is conveniently located in Denton Texas, just 5 minutes north of Lake Lewisville off of I35E. We currently have an opening for a Sr. Field Brand Educator. 

     

    Our Sr. Field Educator is responsible for inspiring stores to consistently deliver the Sally Beauty Experience to every customer. Leads the execution and application of all educational initiatives, including orientation, training and transition. Strategically identifies brand developmental needs and analyzes effectiveness and execution of all educational programs. Provides strategic feedback to key Business Partners to ensure alignment with business and financial goals. Aids in the design and implementation of training and development programs, along with customer facing educational platforms. Provides leadership and direction to Field Educator team.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver customer focused training to drive the transformation of Sally Beauty to a specialty retailer customer service model. Leads and provides training to foster emotion connection with the customer to enhance business growth. Models effective customer service behavior that develops the team to help customers make decisions about products. Provides leadership and coaching in product knowledge/operations/business acumen and business specific selling skills training.
    • Works closely with field leaders (Regional Directors, District Managers) to identify and execute on education support needs. Provide support using a train-the-trainer model.
    • Support action plans and follow up activities related to development plans for high performance leaders and emerging talent. 
    • Aids in the strategic design, implementation and management of multiple training and development programs, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organization to continually assess training needs. Implements effective training programs/materials utilizing a variety of media and delivery methods.
    • Essential driver/designer in the brand development, documentation, and implementation of new hire training and on boarding for leaders. Be the advocate and expert for THRIVE with Field Leaders.
    • Essential driver/designer in the development, documentation, and implementation of brand development programs/career pathing for selected positions. Partner with Operations education/communication director on developing customer centric and business focused field leadership programs for current and future Store and District Leaders.
    • Strategically analyze data, form logical conclusions, then identify company-wide developmental needs, primarily at the leader level while ensuring these are consistent with core competencies and position goals. Presents recommendations to key leaders and gain approvals on key training needs.
    • Leads the development and performance management of Field Educator team.
    • Inspires team to excel and achieve objectives, including consistently delivery of the Sally Beauty Experience to every customer.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business or related field preferred
    • 8+ years of relevant and progressive experience in store leadership and/or training; within specialty retail industry preferred
    • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, coaching, facilitation and presentation skills
    • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-browsers
    • Flexible schedule - some evenings and weekends may be required; ability to travel as needed (up to 80%)
