    Sally Beauty Holdings (NYSE: SBH) is the world’s largest wholesale and retail distributor of beauty supplies.  Our world headquarters is conveniently located in Denton Texas, just 5 minutes north of Lake Lewisville off of I35E. We currently have an opening for a Sr. Executive Compensation Analyst


    Our Sr. Executive Compensation Analyst assists in the preparation of Executive Compensation related materials and data analytic needs – e.g., Compensation Committee meeting preparation, proxy materials, market pricing, and short and long-term incentive plan design/administration, and equity award design/administration.  


    • Leads the development and coordination of materials required for Compensation Committee meetings. Also assist with compiling information and data on executive compensation for inclusion in annual proxy statements, 10-K and other required documentation.
    • Conducts job evaluations; analyzes job responsibilities, activities, duties, requirements and organizational structure and recommends internal job placement in the appropriate level, title, and determines market range. Participates in 3rd party compensation surveys and utilizes compensation surveys to benchmark and market price jobs.\

    • Conducts ad-hoc compensation analyses and research projects.  Identifies and seeks    multiple data-points to evaluate and assess effectiveness of executive compensation programs.  Evaluate executive positions and develop appropriate compensation recommendations.

    • Works with internal/external audit on quarterly and year-end audits and Sarbanes-Oxley testing. Responsible for documentation of equity processes and assisting with oversight of SOX process controls.  In addition, evaluates processes for streamlining and efficiency improvement.
    • Assists in the development and design of executive compensation programs (base pay, short-term incentive and long-term incentive plans) and performs full scope of activities related to the design, administration and delivery of these programs as needed.

    • Coordinates with financial areas regarding cost and tax implications for various compensation plans.

    • Additional duties as assigned.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or equivalent experience required
    • 5+ years of experience in executive compensation related analytics
    • Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Tax, Payroll, Accounting, Audit, Financial Reporting and Human Resources
    • Ability to interpret and understand legal/plan documents, regulations and government legislation
    • Familiarity with tax rules, financial regulations and other relevant parties specific to executive compensation (162m, 409A, ISS, Glass-Lewis, 280G, etc.).
    • Knowledge of SEC filings, 10b5-1 plans, and stock ownership compliance administration
    •  Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, formulas and charts.
    • Proficient computer software use, including Word, PowerPoint and Lawson
    • Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is recommended
    •  Proven track record of applying critical thinking skills and discipline to deliver complete and accurate results
    • Experience in organizing and analyzing data into actionable recommendations and conclusions for presentation in a clear, concise, And easily understandable manner
    • Possess ability to prioritize tasks, work independently as well as a team player
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, results-driven team environment
    • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal relationship and communication skills
    • Ability to maintain confidential information
    • Strong numbers orientation and analytical skills, including knowledge of basic statistical and mathematical calculations
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to develop and deliver within project timelines
    • Exceptionally resourceful, detail-oriented, and focused on customer service
