Overview

Sally Beauty Holdings (NYSE: SBH) is the world’s largest wholesale and retail distributor of beauty supplies.  Our world headquarters is conveniently located in Denton Texas, just 5 minutes north of Lake Lewisville off of I35E. We currently have an opening for an HRIS Manager. 

 

Our HRIS Manager will provides technical and analytical support to the HR/Payroll functions – which include payroll, benefits, compensation, equity, records, solution center and HRIS.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and oversees organization’s HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems). Manage upgrades and implementations to HRIS systems. Provide support to teams during system testing up to and including test scripts and scenarios. Review and approve all changes made to HRIS system prior to presentation to executive management for final approval.
  • Coordinate with internal and external associates on required monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, efficiencies, and automation. Assist team members to research, develop and execute action plans as related
  • Liaison between HR/Payroll teams and IT staff.  
  • Implementation and upgrades to options within the ESS/MSS systems
  • Document processes and review architecture of in-house developed systems as related to user interfaces.
  • Build consensus and cooperation between the multiple teams in HR/Payroll.  
  • Recruit, train, motivate, retain, and direct assigned staff effectively and within budget to accomplish departmental or organizational objectives.  
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s ethics and EEO policies both personally and within the organization managed.  

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in related fields or equivalent work experience
  • 5 + years in HRIS with significant experience with integrated ERP systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years previous supervisory experience.
  • Excellent skills in the following areas: Application Testing & Application Configuration.
  • Knowledge of SOX requirements.
  • Lawson experience preferred
  • Self-service experience required
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to plan, forecast, and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to lead others in a variety of settings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to liaise between Users and IT professionals, internally and externally.
